Help us work to improve the health education provided in the Baltimore area

Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is a great opportunity for UMBC students to become familiar with the surrounding Baltimore area, and gain new perspectives on its population. Our ASB trip will focus on health education in Baltimore, and how the way that residents are educated about their health influences their overall health practices. We will also take a look at communities who have access to successful health education, and analyze how the curriculum could be implemented in Baltimore.

We are a group of UMBC students from all different backgrounds and fields who are advocates for the right to basic privileges such as knowing how to take care of yourself, and those you care for.
